I had the unfortunate experience of being arrested in the United States. “Does this sound familiar?” It’s 2am, Officers call out “Inmate on 2A You have court.” You walk into the sally port grab a milk,Peanut Butter sandwich, and go sit in a cage for hours. Two hours go by and the loud pop opens the doors. My name is called out in a hostile manner. I walk to the officer and he proceeds to put hand cuffs on my wrists.Then I’m led to a transporter bus where I can’t see anything. It’s cold and the metallic smell from the handcuffs makes me realize I’m not in a good place. Depending on where you are transported for court,you could be on this ride for quite some time. No bathroom no view, just chained to another human on a bus ride to HELL.
